Challenge

To shape perceptions that Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar deliver the same brand promise and great taste, MTKG was tasked with creating an immersive sensory experience, located at shopping centres across the UK.

Solution

We invited passers-by into the Sensorium to discover their five senses through an immersive experience across several rooms. Visitors were able to touch, smell, see and taste the Coca-Cola original taste, whilst messaging shaped their choice towards a zero-sugar variant. Consumers ended the experience in the reveal room, where they were told they’d actually been drinking is Coca-Cola Zero Sugar all along.

Results

The Sensorium distributed 208,730 samples of Coca-Cola Original and Zero Sugar across eight UK locations in 28 days and achieved an overall customer experience score of 4.49/5.
